We have just had the bill for our business line and noticed we have been charged 32p each for 2 calls of under 30 seconds on 4th February which I know for certain did not connect as these were calls I tried to make to my father whilst my home phoneline was out of order to let him know what was happening so he wouldn't worry but he did not answer on either occasion. He doesn't have an answermachine or anything else so there is no way the calls connected yet we've still been charged.
Why are BT now charging for just making calls even if they are not answered? We've never been told that there's a charge for just dialling a number now!
