BT2700HGV and port forward to static ip

Hi all,

I'm at a loss, done this on a few routers but can't see what I'm doing wrong...

I have a BT2700HGV.  I also have a 'server' with a static ip address.  I wish the ports 80 and 102 to be forwarded to this server.

The server can be pinged on the local network (the services on the local network on port 80 and 102 work fine).  The server can also be pinged through the BT2700HGV interface (Diagnostics - IP Utilities).

I have setup a 'pin-hole' through the 'Allow device application traffic through firewall' page.  The port does not get correctly forwarded.

The machine with the static IP address can be seen in the 'Select a computer list' in this page, and also in the connected devices list and 'NAT & Address Allocation' page of the LAN tab.

I had this problem with a previous server and once I changed its connection method to DHCP, all worked.  The machine I would like to forward ports 80 and 102 on does not have DHCP client software, so must be static.

Any help appreciated.

Kind regards,

John

Hi John,

If you look at the thread Small office network guides this gives you a link to the documents on how to setup port forwarding using the BT routers.
