Broadband down - it must be half past four !

Every day at half past four, my business broadband goes down for anything up to a minute. In addition to this,  it's slower, yet more expensive than my offering from Virgin at home (which isn't even the fastest option !) Can anybody enlighten me as to why this is happening and what I can do to stop it ?
