Business confusion

Hello,

I have just joined the business forum after I was moderated for mentioing business lines on the residential forum! My question is this; what is the difference between a residential and a business line?

I run a small rural (farming) business but I operate from my home so do I need a business or a residential line? And what is the difference in cost/service? Mobile service is problematic but I also have a medical condition that makes having a reliable telephone connection rather important so I am a bit worried about managing without a BT line, as well as the problems it creates for my business.

Hi,

The only difference between the two is the actual product attached to the line i.e service levelfor faults, billing etc. The actual physical line is the same for both. Making and receiving calls are the exact same on both
