We've had a bt residential line and broadband but as my husband needed an IP address while working from home, bt suggested to get a business line to which we agreed. Without giving us any options we were put on a 5year contract. I remember receiving a letter from BT stating they couldn't have long term contracts & that our contract had been cut short to 24 months. Not sure if it was phone line or broadband.
Now we want to move back to ordinary line how do we go about it?
How do I request a copy of the correspondence sent to us by bt?
Can we cancel the bt line before the 5 year period if we are still on the contract as we plan to move abroad?
