Can't find anyone at BT to help me

We’d like to close one of our BT multiline accounts and move the number over to our ISDN2e system. We would move this number on to one of the 5 number ranges you can have with ISDN2e. All our 5 slots are filled, however we have a single number we would like to drop and put this multiline number in it’s place. Both numbers are on the same exchange so there shouldn’t be any issue.

 

The problem is I can’t get anyone the deal with the request. I spoke to someone at BT some weeks ago who told me what I was asking was entirely possible and I just need to ring up when I want it done. But since contacting BT again everyone I speak to says they don’t deal with ISDN and I must contact BT Local Business (BTLB).

 

I would really rather not have to deal with BTLB again. I’ve had a very poor experience with BTLB as I’ve placed 5 orders with them since September, none of which went to plan. I’ve had orders not implemented as stated on the contract, incorrect charges and billing fees, no updates on orders. 3 of the orders disappeared without trace and 2 took 4 months to resolve all the issues.

 

It seems to me that once you’ve signed the dotted line all contact with them ceases. I’m supposed to have an account manager but her phone just goes to voicemail, she doesn’t respond to voicemail, doesn’t ring back and doesn’t email. Unless there is a sniff of a sale she is uncontactable. Once again because this is a request not a sale I’m having the same problem.
