I have recently had two VOIP lines set up on BT hub and have noticed that they have BT Answer (Voicemail) set up as standard. How can I cancel this feature on my VOIP lines? If I am on the phone I wish the line to be engaged.

After reading a bit further into the FAQ online I found out this can be done with a quick phone call to the Broadband Voice support team. They disabled the service on both lines within 10 minutes.
