Cannot call certain mobile numbers?

When in contact with the BT Businss VOIP support people for another problem, I was told that I cannot call certain mobile numbers since the mobile carriers do not accept VOIP calls.

 

If true, this coudl significantly diminish the value of the service.

 

Is there a list of what carriers, in UK and international, will NOT accept VOIP calls?

Hi Ian,

 

This is Correct, Certain mobile carriers capture and bar the underlying 05 VoIp number rather than the presentation number.

 

There isn't a list of which mobile carriers take this action and as this is outside of our control we have no means of capturing that information.
