Cannot connect to new outlook365 server via outlook 2010

I believe I am using all the correct settins but when testing account settings says cannot connect to server

 

Settings are:

 

Incomming

server: pop.outlook.com

port: 995

SSL required: yes

 

Outgoing

server: smtp.outlook.com

port: 587

encrypted conection: TSL

 

username and password : BT Username and password

Try using pop3 instead of just "pop". Those port numbers seems to be odd. Pop3 should be 110 and SMTP should be 25.

 

Are you trying to set up your BT email on this client? The server should look line pop3.someBTname.com. Try to verify this.
