Cannot get Access to my eshop admin

I'am trying to get in to the admin on my eshop. From the BT Website Centre Page, I click on Bought a BT Eshop and it takes me to this message; You do not host your domain with BT. Your domain is hosted with another provider. Please Click here to read our FAQ about how to configure your URL to work with the BT eShop.

I have looked on help but no use and phoned & emailed.

My eshop is http://eshop.chocolateape.co.uk and all was fine yesturday.

Hi,

I'm having exactly the same problem. Could access ok on Saturday lunchtime but tried all day yesterday and again this morning but can't get onto admin page. Is this happening to everyone with an eshop I wonder? Surely BT must put out some information about this as everyone is going to have big problems with orders if it isn't sorted soon.

Regards,

Peter

Just to note SG1 that email address is for BT internal use only not for customers.

I have the same problem.  The URL that is displayed at the time of the logon failure is https://hosting.hostingbt.com/OS4/resources/1891/BTshell/rshell.html

Is the number 1891 supposed to be my BT shop number that I see in lots of my shop page URLs? If so, then that is not my usual shop number and might this be a clue to what's going wrong?.  Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

It appears that the problem has been going on all weekend and as of 12.21 today Monday the 18th, it still has not been resolved.

The support from BT at the weekend was truly abysmal!!!

I think I made the wrong decision to go with a big Company like BT. I did it because I thought that their support would be better than some back-street firm. I know that no matter how good a Company is, there are bound to be things that go wrong from time to time; but little did I know how that this Company would have such a 'non-urgent' attitude to problem solving.

The experiences I have had with BT over the last couple of weeks does not encourage me to recommend them to anyone who is trying to choose a host Company for business.

I did manage to get to speak to a nice chap on Sunday and he promised to at least get the e-commerce problem put up on the status board.

They had notification of the problem up on their internal bulletin board, but for some reason it was not until this morning about an hour or so ago that it came up on the online status board.

If these people were being paid on a commission only basis, at the level of their performance they would be on the streets and starving.

What a dammed shower!!!!!

I contacted BT by e-mail yesterday and have replied with:

We are currently aware of an issue which is preventing users from accessing your eShop back office. We have raised this with our suppliers and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.

Hope its sorted out soon!!!

I sent them 4 emails since Friday lunchtime and just received one standard reply which really didn't help. I wish they'd hurry up and sort it out, a lot of people are probably losing out on money/customers right now!

Hi all,

It has been ongoing since friday late afternoon and yes, some people might be losing customers or money. One of my regular customers has just emailed my to say that he can not place an order......

Guess how I'm feeling....

Hi All,

My eshop has also been down now for over 48 hours and BT are still none the wiser as to the cause of the problem. All they can do is put the blame on epages. We have not been able to send orders out to customers and not been able to update the site with new products. I wonder whether BT will ever compensate any of its customers it clearly does not value.
