I've set up Windows Live Mail with multiple accounts. All work with the exception of my btconnect account which will send mail but will not receive mail from the server.
Some additional details ... sync with server works without any error messages. Outgoing mail gets sent but incoming mail remains on the server copy only.
Config for btconnect on my WLM - running Windows 7
Incoming mail
Server type : POP3
Incoming server : pop3.btconnect.com
Port : 110
SSL : unticked
Email User name : 'userid' (not qualified with @btconnect.comi)
Password : *********
Remember password : ticked
Logon using clear text authentication : ticked
Outgoing mail
Outgoing server : mail.btconnect.com
Port : 25
SSL : unticked
Outgoing mail requires authentication : ticked
Use same authetication as Incoming Mail : ticked
I have tried deleting and readding the account but no joy. Any ideas?

Correct and working with the following settings
Incoming Settings
pop.outlook.com
port 995
SSL applied/ticked
Outgoing Settings
smtp.outlook.com
port 587
SMTP authentication applied/ticked
Authentication- password
All now working like a charm
I have also tried connecting BT to my Windows Live Mail, but also has this type of problem. MS Outlook works, but not WLM. What's wrong?
