Changing DNS settings

Hello,

 

Could somebody please advise how I can change the DNS settings on my bt registered domain so I can host it?

all the bits and bobs you need are in the "domain maintenance" or manage domain names (cant remember what its called)

to get to that go to www.btbroadbandoffice.com log in with the primary user and go to manage services.

 

the managing domains area is at the bottom. its one of those links

Hi Alistair,

 

Yes, I am in that page, but there does not seem to be any option to change dns, I have optiond for A, CNAME,MX, URL,FRAME and TXT but no DNS......

ah right. the records there ARE the DNS so i wasnt quite understanding. are you saying then you want the name servers changed so you can host the DNS records?

 

 

if so go to www.dnsforms.co.uk and pick DNS name server repoint

the poster wanted to change DNS settings on a BT hosted server not to change what dns server his pc/server uses inits tcp ip
