Changing from web hosts to eccommerce

hello everyone

 

just some advice please - I am thinking of having the basic webhost package to begin with so that my shop has a basic online presence, and then further down the line upgrading to a full eccomerce site - is this something that I can do or am I held into a 2 year contract (even if I was to stay with bt for the eccomerce site)

 

Failing this can anyone reccommend any alternatives??

The minimum term for Web hosting and eShop products is 1 year.

But would i be held to term on the web-hosting package if i was to upgrade say halfway through the contract to an eccomerce site??

 

I dont want to say take out the £15 a month web hosting package and then in 4/5 months when i am ready to upgrade to a web shop be told that i will still have to pay the £15 a month plus then the cost of the web shop on top (obviosuly I am intending to stay with BT for both packages - I know i would be held to term if i was to choose another supplier

If it was done as a direct upgrade, the price of the eShop (£25 per month) would replace the cost of any existing web hosting packages. So no, you wouldn't have to pay for both.
