Content screening message is unhelpful

porterhouse

 Hi,

I have a query and hope it does not contravene any protocols in the forums.

Does anyone know of a way to alter the warning message delivered by the BT2700HGV router when using content screening? The option to override or check settings provides too much information and access to the router configuration.

This has been raised before in a previous message and the answer was "I have talked to the technical team and they have said this can't be changed. Sorry for any inconvenience."

Why can't it be changed, surely it’s a risk and can be configured within the firmware to offer the option to show the options or just show a blocked site message?

Thinks in advance.

Hi Porterhouse,

Unfortunately there is no way of changing this message. i have checked to see if there is anyway of disabling these options but im afraid there is no way of doing it. However, the router is security protected so the user can view the information on the router but cannot make any changes to the settings on the router.
