Hi, a colleague of mine contacted me today to enquire why the website was such a mess. The background had disappeared, the menu structure had corrupted as had the text on the site.
I republished the site and it returned to normal but I'm shocked that:
1. This happened when the site is supposed to be hosted professionally.
2. The impact that this will have had on potential customers.
3. I do not know the full implications. For example, are the website statistics corrupted as well?
Could someone please give me an explanation why this corruption happened and the consequences of this failure.
