Dumb-*rse question from newbie, merits of Infinity vs ADSL

Folks

I've just installed Business by jacking the existing (domestic) infinity line into the Red WAN socket on the back of the Hub 5 & it seems to be working OK. I notice that the new router comes with ADSL kit and am just wondering what the pros and cons are. No doubt I should trial each & see (i think proximity to the exchange is a factor?) but any head's up/link to idiot's guide would be gratefully received.

You use the ADSL (PHONE LINE)lead to connect the hub 5 directly in to the socket that the Openreach modem is connected to as the modem is no longer needed when using a hub 5
