Over the last two days, my BT email account has been blocked, and the password rejected.
On the previous five occassions I have sough help through the BT chatline, and have been talked through being given a temporary password, and then changing this to a permanent password.
Each time I have tested the email account and been able to access it.
Unfortunately, within a very short space of time the account has become blocked again and I have had to go through exactly the same process again.
I used my email account fine this morning without any problems, but when I attempted to log on this afternoon - guess what, the account was blocked again. That's the sixth time in less than two days.
One of the error messages I am getting is from BT Yahoo, telling me my account has been blocked " because of unusual activity on my account". Well, duh! I've changed my password several times, and yes that is unusual, but BT have talked me through this 'unusual activity' on each occassion.
BT Yahoo doesn't seem to recognise a new password if I go through the Yahoo password change process.
What is going on with BT, and is there ANY solution to this frustrating problem?
