So I wasted a good few hours on friday setting up my emails after the "upgrade" to 365 - it was receiving fine but couldn't/wouldn't let me send, however after much digging I found the settings to do it...
Now, three days later I can send emails from my desktop outlook however the received messages are just sitting in the online inbox and not getting downloaded - and my outlook doesn't report any problems with the send/receive... really frustrating to have to waste time like this - all I want is an email service that I can connect to using a desktop client, how difficult is that!? it worked fine for a couple of years!
