Hi
I have just ordered a Versatility system for my home office with 4 x isdn and 6 extensions.
Could anyone tell me what sockets I should use ie Master or Secondary and do they need the ringer cap in.
Basically I don't know which to buy 2/1A, 2/2A or 2/3A
As I need 2 extensions at each desk I was thinking of using dual sockets, again which is the right choice 4/1A, 4/3A or 5/1A, 5/3A
I shall be wiring with Cat5e throughout.
Could some kind person enlighten me please
Thanks

cat5 then you will have rj45 outlets, you will need dongles or baluns depending on how old you are. 3a is for system phones and 2a for the analogue usually. Analogue handsets will need a ring capacitor.
I forgot to add I shall be using 3 v8 feature phones and 3 standard phones
Thanks
Extn sockets for the system phones and probably the ordinairy phones, most new analogue telephones have the capacitor built in.
