I am new to website design but am learning html and have designed a basic website for a friends business. It is quite a simple design as he just wants to advertise what he has for sale and not take payments over the internet. I created the file in html and just have a few more links to do.
I have just been given access to his BT host account and have managed to use Filezilla ftp to add these pages to the host but am not sure where to go from here. I can see and edit the code view of the files in filemanager but don't know how to see what this will look like and then how to publish it from here.
Also, another alternative is to use the site designer to finish it off (I've never used this before) - is there any way I can add what I have so far into the site designer without starting again so it is easier to update. I have tried to copy and paste it into the html section but it loses any links to images - is there something else I should be doing or can anyone offer any other advice before I go completely mad.
Thanks J

Update: I've just had a look at this with help of a work colleague and we've managed to link the images through the file manager. I had missed a / off from the image source section in my HTML so it didn't know where to look. We also picked up that I had already published the website so I've now taken it off until I have finished developing.
Still have issues loading it into site wizard though and will try again tonight. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I will let you know if I can solve it myself.
Hi
Can you supply the domain name in question to see if this is something the forum users can help with.

Hi
It's colsmithcarsales.co.uk. I am just experimenting at the moment trying to get used to the host site and how to add the website. I've uploaded a few sample pages so far as well as the images via FTP.
I'm not ready to publish just yet as you can see but I think that using the Easy Site Wizard would make it easier so the person I am doing it for can update it himself after it is finished.
Thanks
