Featureline Hell

On returning after the Christmas break we have experienced problems with our featureline system. I called the helpdesk who forwarded it to the local exchange from where an engineer, (an extremely impatient and unhelpful person to say the least) contacted us to say we had a divert on the main line in which she removed and that there was no fault on the line and that we should contact our local business team if we still experience problems. Problem still experienced so called helpdesk again to be transferred to somewhere else where the phone rang until it went dead. I tried 2 numbers of the local business support team we had on file - one didnt ring at all so assume number is disconnected and the second again rang but went to answer service saying it didnt accept messages. Tried the online help after waiting in a queue for over 12 minutes a gentleman called Allan was looking at my problem but guess it was too difficult as he re-queued me and i was 17 in the list with a wait time of over 17 minutes. 

Find it amazing that a company who specialises in phones are so bad at answering their own phone.

Any recommendations for non BT business system greatly appreciated!!!
