I am a newbie to Voip. Currently all VOIP calls are forwarded to my mobile - some I miss because of coverage. So I wish to have the functionality to set up follow me permanently, ringing both on my office VOIP line and mobile, so I don't need to nominate follow me eachtime I leave the office.
But if the mobile is in poor reception (as in my office) the Mobile will intercept immediately and go to mobile voicemail - the VOIP line won't have a chance for it to be picked up by me.
So is there a clever work around? Could I delay the Mobile ringing until step 2?- so that gives me say 10 seconds of VOIP ringing, afterwhich the mobile rings as well
I am looking forward to the benefits of VOIP but getting the workflow right will make a big difference.
Thanks.
You may simply contact BT for assistance. Have you tried checking the manual how to set it up and how it works?
Hi Paulo
Yes you can set the mobile to setup 2 what this would do is ring both voip lines and after the time set it would stop ringing the voip lines and ring the mobile.
If you would like to discuss this more please send me a private message with your contact name and number and one of your voip numbers.
Regards
Sean
