Hi all, I have just had to get a new laptop as the old one died. Is it possible to redownload old emails from BT servers? Is there anyway of avoiding this problem in the future?

Depends if you left copies on the server ... if not then no you cannot download them.
Why did the old laptop die? If te disk drive was not the fault then they can be recovered from there.
How to avoid it in future - backup the data occasionally.

Hi Lee. What email client did you use for this? If it's outlook, you can check the PST files here.
You can also try to login using webmail and see if your emails are still there.
