Has anyone got Netgear UTM series to connect to Infinity with fixed IP's?

Hi

Has anyone got Netgear UTM series to connect to Infinity with fixed IP's?

We have a UTM150 which is a great device but it won't connect on fixed IP's to via the Huewai/BT modem.

The fixed IP's work fine on Draytek 3510 through the BT Modem so no problems there and for once the BT service is actually working properly on both our lines at the same time! (I am holding a big lump of wood as I type)

What seem to be happening is that the Netgear isn't pointing itself to the gateway address that I am entering. Whatever I enter in the gateway field I get an IP 10.112.112.112 which I am guessing is actually the Modem's default.

Any ideas?

Netgear works fine with BT from what I know. Make sure that the IP address that you set in netgear is in the same subnet as the default gateway.

Can you post the IP, subnet mask and gateway here?
