Having problems and am helpless!

Hope somebody can help me with these problems. The helpline has been less than helpful and I'm on the verge of cancelling my new featureline account. These are the issues: I've lost my answer 1571 and have no idea how to reinstate it. I've lost caller number display and don't know how to get it back, and, lastly, I have no idea if call waiting is working but feel it isn't. Any advice please? I've been passed round 6 different people today who all put me through to somebody else.  Thanks, Pat

Well I recently registered with BT.com to manage my home phone and noticed that you can enable and disable all these features online.

Perhaps the best thing to do is to register to manage your account online and then take care of everything yourself.

Thanks Chris. I'm on a business line and can't change things in that way. I have managed to get through to the right department at last today after being given the runaround all afternoon again. They say I already have call minder on my account but for some reason I can't access it through the number they gave me - 9157571. They're looking into it. It's driving me round the bend. They say they've activated caller display, I assume that won't show up for a few hours. I wish to God I'd not started with this featureline thing and left things as they were. Thanks for you help anyway.

Got it all sorted now. They reinstated number display which hadn't been transferred over to the featureline account for some reason, and the call minder was activated after a software fault was found at the exchange. I actually think customer services is crap - nobody seems to know who you should speak to and I don't have the time to explain the same thing over and over again to each department I was put through to. The different features BT advertises seem to be brilliant - it's when things go wrong or are not quite as good as you thought they would be that make you wish you had never heard of the place.
