How much longer for Infinity???

CHRISNWUK10

So,

How much longer till we get BT Infinity activated?

The exchage is LCTUR, we've burned through at least 6 RFS dates to get to a point where BT Openreach now says it's activated, yet this site permantly says it's coming soon??

What does coming soon mean? Within a month, possibly 6 months, sometime whenever never??

This is really holding my business back.

Hi CHRISNWUK10,

We are not able to say when a line/cabinet will be updated/replaced to be able to provide you with fibre broadband, as we as an ISP have no control over it.

The roll out of fibre across the country if being handle by Openreach and local government, we canonly supply the service once they tell all ISP's that it is available for specific lines/cabinet/exchanges.

Hi,

Its <removed by Admin>.

We're on an exchage only line.

Openreach completed wiring of the area a while ago, but since then there's been no news.

Hi CHRISNWUK

I have checked your phone number there is no date as to when you might get fibre broadband.  When I check your line it does not say what cabinet number you are on, so your line might come direct from the exchange, which means you might need to wait until Fibre to the property (FTTP) comes out, instead of Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) which is what we are rolling out just now.

When I check your phone number on Openreache's website its states:

Exchange name: Turton

We're keen to bring Superfast Fibre to your area and are exploring how best to achieve that. We may deliver it as part of our commercial programme, or by working in partnership with your local authority. At the moment you can't order Superfast Fibre. Mark,

I'm on Exchange Only line and had wanted to opt for Infinity Premium since I have a pressing need for the greater upload (I appear on the telly from home very often and need more robust video capability).

Given the delay in getting fibre I've had to go instead for having another line installed for a bonded line solution (at least it'll give in little overhead)!

Hopefully FTTP will come before the end of the two year contract!

Be Well,

Hi, Can anyone help and tell me how long it takes to process an order for BT infinity fibre - I have been waiting for 2 weeks and the order tracking says that it is still being processed. Will I have to wait weeks or months ?

Thanks,
