How to change website content?

I bought a B&B last summer and part of the package was the domain name and relevent website. Six months on the website is now embarassingly outdated and i'm having trouble changing the content. Partly because, until today, i wasn't exactly sure who hosted it, and also the instructions left to me by the previous owner, don't actually exist.
Basically i'm a little out of my depth, any help or direction would be appriciated.

Well basically if you know the host then that's a start.  They should have documentation on how to set up an FTP connection to the webspace.

The only problem is that you would need the username and password used to access it, which they might not give you.

All I can suggest is to contact the host with all the details you have, and see what they say.
