Hi All,

just got an Iphone for my daughter and she is happy, but it will not connect to the BT Business hub if security is enabled!

I have tried every channel and WEP, WPA, WPA2 but they still do not connect. I have an Iphone 4 this works great but I cannot afford to have my network open just to enable Wifi for my daughter.

Anyone got any ideas?

thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

Usually when this happens on a Iphone with not connecting to a Wi-Fi network when you are positive you are typing the correct Key & tried different Wi-Fi authentication types on the router you will be required to 'Reset Network Settings' on the Iphone

This basically clears all previously saved Wi-Fi networks and sets the Iphone Wi-Fi back to defaults

To do this on a 3g do the following (This will only reset your Wi-Fi settings on your Iphone)

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings ( Then the iphone would normally reboot )

Last step would be try connecting to the Wi-Fi Network again - & hopefully this should resolve the problem Smiley Happy

Hi

I have checked and there shouldn't be any issues connecting your IPhone to the Business Hub. I would check with Apple to ensure that the authentication is set correctly on the IPhone.

We do have an IT Support Management team that would be able to assist you with the setup and see if there is anything wrong with the IPhone settings, however, this is a chargeable desk. The IT Support team would be able to Support the connection of cameras, iPods, mp3 players and mobile phones to your computer, they would also be a single point of contact for hardware, software, network, Wi-Fi and email issues.

I am really sorry that the forum moderators can't assist with this further, but there may be other forum users who can offer additional advice.

Kind Regards
