Hi,
I was just doing a test order on my site the other day, everything is fine as such but when I got to the Confirm order stage, a message did pop up to say ' Because of the payment or delivery address, the taxation of the order has changed'. Now this did not impact the value of the order in anyway, and I could check out as normal. I'm sure there is a quick way to remove this message, something in the settings that can be fixed, I'm just not sure which one.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,
Polly

Hi,
Do you have a tax class of "no vat" setup for example for "non-EU countries" and not used the UK during your test transaction?
Hi Orchie,
Checked my tax settings and they are as follows:-
Tax Model is Gross (includes VAT) - needed to have this for Google Base feed.
Tax Class has 'normal standard' as default
Tax Area - EU Country as default
Tax Matrix - EU as default, all 0%
We only ship at the moment to the UK.
Any ideas ?
Hi Orchie,
I have just tried that and it increases the prices of all the products by whatever percentage I set it to.
Any other ideas that I could try ?
Thanks
Paula
Strange I must have missed a setting, what do you have the following set to under "Tax Model?"
Hi Paula,
I have done a test order in the shop and I have reproduced the message.
Could you be so kind to contact BT with your access details? It is very difficult to guess. Much easier to see it in the back office.
Kind Regards,
Thank you...is there a way I could email this to you as I work during the day and it's very difficult to make a call !
Thanks,
Paula.
Hi Orchie,
Yes, it's set to Gross prices to include VAT.
Thanks,
Paula
Hi BT,
Can you please let me know if there is a way I can provide you access details. I really need to get this message fixed now as I'm sure it will put some buyers off.
Thanks,
Paula.
