Hi

Would anyone have the settings so that I can use Microsoft 365 for small businesses on my phone (mainly email and diary) direct to phone.  It asks for a server name?

look forward to response.

Hi DigitalPA,

For most handheld deivces, the best option is to select exchange and enter the username and password, this should then work automatically.  If this fails and still requires a server name you can set this up as IMAP using:

  • Server name: imap.outlook.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encryption method: SSL

Or the exchange server name is a bit more difficult but can be obtained by:

Logging into http://login.microsoftonline.com

Check the address bar. There will be an address in the format: https://uniquetext.outlook.com/owa/ (uniquetext here is individual to your account replace "uniquetext" with whatever is found in your own webmail.  To form the Exchange Server address you need to add .mailbox before .outlook.com  for the account setup. In this example it would become uniquetext.mailbox.outlook.com

Thanks,

Steve
