Minding my own business I receive a phonecall from BT Local Business in the SouthWest.
"Looking at our records it appears you've still go accounts in your old name would you like me to change that for you?"
Ok very helpful thank you.
"I'll just get some contracts drawn up for you to sign"
Ok.
Sign contracts. Then I find out all contracts have now been put in 2 year contracts. My accounts department already had the bills coming in with new company name on it!!!! Not only that but BT now want to charge because we're not on direct debit for numbers that were on direct debit on the old account!!!
To add insult to injury BT send an egineer round to put in a "new line" which was not required. This broke the existing connections in place to the PBX at this office!!!! The engineer said don't worry i'll put it back as it was. But leaves with just a phone hanging out of the new socket UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
I try phoning local business, the guy who dealt with it is on Sick Leave. Try to speak to a manager but they hide behind voicemail. Next stop Ombudsman! I've never had such shabby treatment by a company in my life!
We're moving offices in 18 months and that will be the end of our company's dealings with BT forever.
