Need to know which line is calling

We are running an office which has more than one business within it and so need to answer the phone with a personalised greeting depending on who the call is for. I have read on a seperate message that this isn't possible on VoIP?

The BT Falcon phones we have have lights down the side (F1, F2, ..., F10) so why is it not possible to program it so these flash depending on which line is being called? We have seperate phone numbers for each company but they are all forwarded to one BT Falcon IP phone, is it impossible for it to tell them apart? If so, is there another handset that could tell them apart so the lines could be answered with a different message?

Failing this, is it possible to set a different ringtone for each number so we know which line is being called?

Hi Hannah

The BT Falcon handset can't tell the difference between lines as the numbers are on the same voip number, the phone see's the call coming from the same source, Even if the numbers where attached to there own voip lines they would not ring the same falcon IP phone because it is configured to a specific line.

The only way around this would be to have another voip line and IP phone and move your other number over.

I've been thinking of using BT for this type of service. In case BT Falcon phones won't possibly do so, what would be your suggestion?
