Newsletter Campaigns in eShop - assigning customer groups to particular campaigns

Can you assign customers/customer groups to particular newsletter campaigns?  For instance I have customer groups for people who run clubs. I want to create a Campaign and Newsletters specifically for this group, where they may get larger discounts for multiple purchases.  So I only want this group to see or be able to subscribe to a particluar Campaign Group....

Does this make sense?  Is it possible?   

At the moment it seems that no matter what Campaign Group i create and then newsletters in that group, anyone can subscribe to any of the Campaign Groups and newsletters....

This is not possible. 

If you create a campaign everybody is free to subscribe for the campaign.

We take your question as a feature request for the development team.

Maybe it would be good if you add a message in the newsletter title something like "JUST FOR STUDENTS" for example.

Thanks for your suggestion, but i am looking to have different content for different types of customers.  I have resellers who i would prefer to provide slightly different content particularly around pricing and volumes purchases.
