Complaint about porting on BT number 01278 425505

 

Because we intend to cancel ouir account with BT and are moving offices today, we have instructed Ring Central to port my BT number onto their internet system.

 

For some reason BT continue to deny RingCentrals requests to port this number which has been ongoing since the 16th July 2015 and is extremely frustrating.

 

Subsequently, I rang BT to establish why there was a problem which no one could answer denying that Ring Central had ever made contact at all. However, I then found out that my correct BT billing address Graham Hambly(not Hambley as you spelt it) UK Storage, Unit 3, East Quay, Bridgwater, TA6 4DB is different to the BT installation address which for some unknown reason BT had it as Unit 3, Wylds Road, Bridgwater, TA6 4DD. After 2 attempts talking to your Order Management Department someone confirmed that the installation address had been altered in line with the correct billing address.  This was clarified in an email BT sent on the 4th August 2015 to my email address info@gandalettings.co.uk.

 

Having done this, we advised RingCentral to apply again to BT in order to port the number which you again have rejected.  Why are you denying this, it is a very simple task. 

 

I think your service is disgusting and ask you to sort this problem out immediately. Perhaps you can contact RingCentral direct(service-uk@ringcentral.com)

 

We are requesting a deadlock letter from you and please forward the details of your Ombudsman.

 

Please also take this as our 28 day letter of notice from 7th August 2015 ending 4th September 2015.
