We are due to be upgraded on the 17th. However no-one appears to be able to answer the following question.....

We have 10 users…we would like 5 users to use the bt business email lite and 5 users to be upgraded to full Office 365

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hi,

This is not possoble.  If you have a domain name they need to be either all email lite or all full Office 365.  The only way to have a mix is to have  1 domain name as full Office 365 and 1 email lite, or keep the domain name as Office 365 and use the @btconnect.com email addresses you get as the lite accounts.

Hi Dan,

If you are using btconnect addresses, it is not possible to make these premium users.  If you are using a domain name, as Mark says, this is generally not possible to mix and match, there is a work around however which is a bit complicated:

You could, register another domain (doesn't matter what it is, your clients won't see it anyway).

Setup the number of premium users you need on the new domain, login to each user and select connected accounts in options, you can then link each user to a light account from your original domain name (the one you want to use) and they will effectively be exchange accounts whereas all other mailboxes will be pop accounts.
