We have just started having this problem with BT residential broadband (not sure if remote users with business broadband are also affected). When users connect via Windows VPN into our heead office their Outlook 2003 will not update and shows as disconnected. All remote users using other service providers do not have the same issue. If a ping is sent from the remote users laptop to our mail server the ip resolves to 92.242.132.15 which does not exist on our network and belongs to a company called Barefruit.
How do we resolve this?
Regards
Kevin
Please can someone help with this issue as it is now becoming very frustrating?
Thanks
Kevin
Hi
I am sorry that none of the forum members were able to offer any advice on this issue. You mentioned in your post that it is BT Residential Broadband and remote access to your head office that is causing issues. It may be better to ask for help on the Residential Forum and see if anyone else using a residential connection is having similar issues with VPN.
I am afraid that technical support do not pick up issues directly from the forums (on either the business or residential forum), the forums are designed for customers to discuss and help each other on BT products and services.
I hope you manage to get this issue resolved.
Kind Regards
Fiona
