I want to password protect my free webspace at http://home2.btconnect.com/snrhoggemblen so that only i can view the site I have tried searching on here and followed a couple of suggestions for .htaccess / .htpasswd. but I am unable to get these to work.
AuthName "shogg"
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile /services/webpages/s/n/home2.btconnect.com/snrhoggemblen/public/.htpasswd
require valid-user
Any suggestions as to errors in this process would be appreciated
