Hello,
Customer can add comments in the first step of the shopping procedure "Order and delivery comments". This is the only place where customer can add it.
There is not the option to add comments by customer in the products.
If you have some fixed options you can create variations.
For example; If you have "name cup".
You can create the product "cup" and variations with the most popular names.
You can see how many variations you can have per product in->Settings->General Settings->Utilisation
If your products are so personal that this option does not help you, you need to add a comment in every product for informing the customer that they should give the details in the shopping procedure or send you an email.

This is a feature that i'm also desperate for, and is offered by many other e-commerce companies.
I've been studying the epages update release notes, and in update 6.14.0 (http://www.epages.com/en/features/release-notes/) this feature was added. My eshop is currently running on version 6.16.3, I would appreciate if you could activate this feature as soon as possible.

the option to do this is already in your eshop.
If you go to Prodcuts> New>Customisable product> then you create it by fill in all the fields> Save> it will pop up a new window, just scroll down and at the bottom you will find text field> this is where they can put in what customiseation is required.

This is the screenshot of the menus. And it's not an option I get!!!
I know where it's suppose to be, because it's in the epages guide! But, BT hasn't activated it on my account, and every time I call them to request it, they say it's not possible! arrrgh!

I have had epages look into this for you. Because you have the standard eshop, the option to have customisable products is not there. To be able to do this you would need to upgrade your eshop with us to the BT ehop Elite package, which I beleive is £45 a month, you can upgrade the eshop yourself through the myoffice website if you want to upgrade.

Ok, thanks for your help.
I don't think it's worth the £20 extra per month.
I will look around other providers, and make a decission whether to keep the site with BT in the new year.
