Phone lines extremely quiet.

Is there anything i can do?
The phone lines at our premises are that quiet, we have to end the call and use a mobile phone.
I have tried plugging in a different phone but no joy.
Any help would be appreciated.

You would be best to contact the helpdesk to get the line checked, there could be a fault on the line causing them to be quiet.
