Printer not working after BTHub3-W59R installed

Hi all,

 

My boss got a call the other week from BT saying that our internet connection can have an updgrade. Great, we all thought. We receieved the BTHub3-W59R router yesterday and installed it all no problems. The internet seems a lot quicker, however, after the install we are not able to print to our LAN printer. I have changed the IP address for the printer on all machines, and it does connect but then the connection just stops and pauses the printer.

 

We are all on macs

We are all connected to a hub and the new router is connected to this hub

The printer has a Fiery RIP

 

I can see the printer on the network when I open the BTHub3-W59R online, but it says its not connected?

 

any help/advice is much appreciated as I'm tearing my hair out here.

Same problem with our Brother IP printer. Used to work fine with our AOL router. Now defeunct with a BT router. BT please respond with a solution.

I am having exactly the same problem.   The printer manual suggests that the hub could be keeping each device isolated!   Where does the BTHub3 manual tell us how to change this setting?   Our Pcs need to talk to the printers!   So come on BT - where is the answer to gwengo's original question - does it really take 16 months to get an answer?
