Problems with Contact Us page

Hello all.

I am presently trying to sort the Contact Us part of a new website, when I click on the "contact us" all it does is bring up the email address in a box, I wanted to use a standard web page conact form, I can do this but because I can't access the Contact Us part of the website I can't get the form to the right place (I have an "ABout Us" page, click on that and it brings the text Iv'e added to that page and I can stick the web form there but not on the Contact Us bit)

I'm assuming you are using Easy Site Wizard. If that is the case you can get this button going to page you can edit relatively easily:

Click "menu editor" in your site editor

Choose "manage pages" on the bottom left

Click "Create Page" on the top right and enter the required details, click apply

This will create the new page, now you can close the manage pages section, this will put you back in the menu editor.

Choose "options" under the contact us button and choose to "link to" a page, choose the page you just created in the drop down.

Now you have a page that you can edit in your editor, you can add a form into this and you should be doing alright.

Hello duskjome. 

Many thanks for your help. I am using Easy Site Wizard, I was following your notes to the letter but after "Create Page" I tried to fill in the required fields (page name and menu button name) with the text "Contact Us"  but got a large red box up stating "Please provide valid page file name!"  I get this whether I fill in both or either field.

If you could possibly help with what a valid page file name is I would be very grateful.

Hello again duskjome

I have sorted the query regarding the file name, its because I used Caps and had a space.  Page now complete and I have attempted to publish the site.
