Hi there,
im currently working on a wordpress based site for a client which has a bt advanced hosting package.
I have uploaded the wordpress installation folder, and created a new database using the online tools. For some reason when i go to install wordpress, the login credentials work but for some reason the database i created (wordpress_mydomain_co_uk) cannot be seen.
So i installed phpmyadmin, all the time using the username/db that id just created as the credentials, but when i actually log into phpmyadmin it says theres no databases?!?
After some googling it seems there is a permittion that must be granted in order to actually see the databases, (SHOW DATABASES).
Im at my wits end here, the domain the hosting is using is thebridge-bar.co.uk, the sql host name is : sql5c30a.carrierzone.com
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i dont really fancy sitting on the phone to technical support for hours on end...
Cheers
Steve

Unfortunately it does look like you would have to contact support regarding this. It appears to be an issue with permissions on that database user and that can only be changed by the server administrator. Everything with the wordpress and phpmyadmin installation seems good on the surface.
