I received an email from BT a few days ago saying that my domain name was due to expire in December and that if I wish to retain the domain, I should set the auto-renew flag to "ON". I visited the BT website and tried to do this. However to my surprise there was no mention on the website as to how much the renewal was going to cost. In any case, I follow the instructions for setting the auto-renew flag to on and I was asked for my debit/credit card details. I have provided both my credit card and debit card detials to pay the £1 that I am being asked to pay and on each occasion I get the following message:
We were unable to complete your auto renew.
No funds were charged for this transaction.
We apologise for the inconvenience that this may have caused.
I have used the same credit/debit card details to pay other companies on the internet and have not had this problem. Is it time to move the domain name to a company whose website actually works?

I am very sorry that the website doesn't seem to be working for you, disappointed. I'd advise that you Contact the Domain Name Services Team who can help you with this.

Having waited for over a week for a sensible response from BT and receiving none, I have moved my domain names to another ISP whose website works.
Muito obrigado BT
