We have been having major problems ever since we changed to Fibre broadband and got the new bt business hub.
We have 5 or 6 people in the office all with phones connected to the wifi. At random intervals (Can be days or hours apart) it will kick someone off the wifi network (The phones will change from a connected to just a trying to connect icon and never connect) and they are not able to rejoin until we reset our router.
We also have a radio in the office which is connected by Wifi and it kicks this off too and again the only way to be able to connect it is to reboot the router.
Last week we added a computer to our wifi network (Unlike the others which have always been wired) and now this is having the same issue of being kicked off then not being able to connect until we reboot the router.
Has anyone else had this?
Hi. This looks like a channel interference to me. When you browse for available networks in range, how many networks do you see? Is it more than one?
If yes, then most likely a channel interference to me. Cordless phones running on 2.4Ghz would also contribute to the issue here.
I see this problem quite often and it is not related to any specific ISP or hardware supplier (PC, WAP, Phone, iXXX. One particular one, I would be logged on, and suddenly would lose the connection and unable to restore it. It required a full PC reboot - and straight back on, 10 minutes later, it would go again so reboot ... Whereas with a different access point te PC was rock solid and never lost connectivity.
