I've had BT Infinity for 2 months, very pleased with speed which has been consistently 35Mbps. But now it's all gone pear-shaped.
Service dropped completely on evening of Wednesday 16th March, called BT (Indian call centre) next morning, engineer booked for Friday 1-6pm. Wife takes afternoon off, engineer doesn't arrive.
Called BT again, engineer rebooked for Monday morning 8-1. Wife takes morning off work, engineer doesn't turn up.
Called BT again, engineer absolutely promised to come Tuesday 8-1. Wife etc etc, no show from engineer.
Called BT again, engineer definitely coming next Friday 25th, which will be 9 days with no internet (!!). Indian lady assures us this time that engineer will arrive and gives us a confirmation number to convince us, wow! We really have confidence now. Will we get the internet restored on Friday? We'll see.
The above synopsis omits the usual feelings of utter despair, we feel we have been treated like rubbish, can't believe that any organisation could treat its customers so very badly. Each call of course takes around 20 - 50 mins involving listening to lots of menus and music and then we are told lots of information about how our call is being opened and closed and passed to another area who are then dealing with it and passing it somewhere else - all nonsense and totally irrelevant to the customer of course.
Just gobsmacked with the appalling level of servcie from BT.

Hi pgbnet,
I'm really sorry to read about the problems you have had with your BT Infinity service. When signing up to the forum you didn't include your Business details so I cannot trace your Business account. If you are with our residential service, you can talk to the residential team on their chat, or through the residential forum. If you are with BT Business, please can you private mail me your business user details and any reference numbers so I can look over this for you.
Kind Regards
Fiona

Hi
As I have not had any private mail in regards to this issue I can only assume this was a residential issue and you have now contacted the residential team. I will close the thread.
Kind Regards
