I have checked with the Versatility team and they have said this isn’t a common problem.  It has only been seen occasionally and only ever in the circumstances described in my previous reply.

 

Unfortunately It isn’t possible to offer any other answer to what is causing the issue without carrying out some diagnostics. To do this you would either need to contact BT Versatility if you have a maintenance contract with them, or contact your maintaner if this is with someone else.

 

I'm really sorry I can't offer any more advice with this, but I hope that you do get it resolved soon.
