Reverse DNS

Im trying to get Reverse DNS setup on a couple of our IPs. Should be a simple case of an e-mail http://btbusiness.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8756/c/1995,2003,2045 However the e-mail address reverse.dns@btbroadbandoffice.com bounces back as Permanently Undeliverable ( 550 5.1.1 User unknown ) Has this address been changed or anyone know of an updated method?

Hi All,

at the moment the email address reverse.dns@btbroadbandoffice is not working, if you go to www.dnsforms.co.uk and fill in a general enquiry form, this will get to the same team who will be able to process your requests.

I didn't get a reply from my previous query.

(Incident number is 131004-001803)

Im assuming this is because I couldn't supply a "Bill Number" we have about 6 phone lines here is a Bill Number really necessary or relevant for a Broadband Enquiry IP address change?

Hi,

I too am having the same issue. i am unable to send email to reverse.dns@btbroadbandoffice.com.

I receive a NDR as below:

Generating server: c2bthimr01.btconnect.com

reverse.dns@btbroadbandoffice.com
smtpin.btconnect.com #<smtpin.btconnect.com #5.1.1 SMTP; 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for reverse.dns@btbroadbandoffice.com> #SMTP#

Also tried www.dnsforms.com but cant see where to request a reverse dns.

Any ideas?
