Router problems

Every day or so I have to reset the router because there is no internet connection for just one of our computers on our network (the other one is still connected to the internet). The 2 computers are connected via ethernet cable to the router because the wireless is even more unreliable. For one of the computers the internet works fine while the other computer will not have internet connection. This happens for both computers at different times. I have tried giving the computers fixed DNS server addresses but it does not work. The only solution is to restart the router by the button on the side and then both computers will have internet for a day or so, before having to do it again. However recently it has been happening every 10 minutes so its getting very annoying! Is there a permanent fix to this?

Hi Moonburn

This sounds like the DHCP is broken
this is the service which assigns IPs to computers in your internal network,

The easiest way to fix this is a full factory reset,  if this does not work then we need to replace the router.

If this is a BT router what i would do is contact us to walk you through the reset and arrange a callback to make sure this is fixed.  If not we will be able to send out a replacement for you.

Thanks
