SMTP Relay to BT Internet Addresses - Email not going through

Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help me here. My organisation uses an internal smtp relay to forward emails (website bookings etc.) to external email addresses. This appears to work fine for most email addresses. However emails will not go through to BT Internet email address at all.
We use Office 365. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
