I have a new SGS2 I have moved my BT Mobile SIM from Blackberry into SGS2 but I cant get any mobile data GPRS.
I have checked the APN settings and they all look OK. I have turned the phone on and off a number of times do I need to do anything else?
Do I need to log on to a website or send a message to complete registration?
Phone has 3 network mode settings
GSM/WCDMA (auto) which is the default
GSM
WCDMA
It all looks like it should work but it doesn't
Any help much appreciated
Hi. Are you able to get this work in the past? This could be a configuration issue and might be a GPRS signal issue here. I would suggest to call tech support so you could troubleshoot on the phone.
I just used my BT blackberry sim in a galaxy and had to change the following setting:
Chane the APN (access point names) in the mobile networks settings to:
Name : bt
APN : btmobile.bt.com
User :bt
Password :bt
MCC :234
MNC :15
APN Type: internet & MMS
All other field not set.
Mine now connects to the net.
Thanks for this, it was exactly what i was looking for 🙂
